Welcome to our plain traditional guernsey jumper collection.
The guernsey jumper was originally created by the wearer’s family for protection and practicality out of necessity and love – an ethos that we continue to this day.
Original guernsey jumpers were traditionally knitted using worsted wool, something that Le Tricoteur still follows to this day with our 100% accredited British wool confirmed by the inclusion of the shepherds crook label as part of our labelling of each jumper.
Worsted wool’s longer, stronger fibres give a tighter knit, making our guernseys warm and capable of keeping out the elements, while retaining shape.
Designed for seafarers and fisherman, the guernsey is now the perfect choice modern day adventurers, whether on land or at sea.
