On a trip to London our son spotted a secondhand Le Tricoteur at a vintage stall and we bought it, sent it to our wool-mill and asked them to match it.
Here is the result and staying true to its heyday marketing campaign - we’ve dug out the old advertising images.
Our guernseys are hand-finished by artisan knitters on the island of Guernsey, who follow a centuries-old island tradition.
All our garments are unisex and designed to be reversible. Alternate wearing your guernsey front to back and then back to front, on rotation.
Sizes range from 34 to 56 inches.
Women: please size up by 2 inches on your usual chest size. For a looser baggier fit size up + 4 inches
Men: please size up by 2 inches on your usual chest size, or go up by 4 inches for a looser fit.
